Tracy Capstick confirmed as Board Chair, Christina Jabalee appointed Executive Director
Support House is pleased to announce important leadership appointments. Tracy Capstick, CPA, CA, LPA, continues as Board Chair, and Christina Jabalee, BSW, RSW, MBA (Candidate) has been appointed Executive Director.
A founding partner of Oakville-based Capstick McCollum & Associates, Tracy Capstick, CPA, CA, LPA, brings more than three decades of experience in public accounting and business advisory, including senior roles at KMPG. Her work focuses on audit, accounting, and tax compliance for charities and health care organizations, giving her deep insight into the financial stewardship and governance required in the not-for-profit sector. Tracy is an active leader in the community and profession, currently serving as Treasurer of the Oakville Arts Council and as a member of the Small and Medium Practices Advisory Committee of CPA Ontario. Her past governance roles include Board Chair of Halton Woman's Place and Treasurer of Camaraderie of Hope. Tracy's leadership provides continuity, thoughtful oversight, and clear strategic direction as we move forward and build on emerging opportunities.
Christina Jabalee, BSW, RSW, MBA Candidate, has dedicated thirteen years to Support House, serving as Associate Executive Director, Director of Community Health, and Co-Director of the Centre for Innovation in Peer Support. Her values-driven leadership, strong roots in peer support, commitment to quality improvement, and deep understanding of our clients and services position her well to further strengthen our role as a leader in supportive housing and integrated community health care.
With over twenty years of experience in health and social services, Christina is a recognized leader in peer support and client-directed care. She has presented at provincial and national conferences and was honored with the President's Shield Award from Addictions Mental Health Ontario in 2018.
Christina steps into this role alongside a strong and experienced Leadership Team with deep tenure in our community.
These appointments reflect both continuity and innovation. They build on our strong foundation, deepen our alignment across the health care continuum, and reinforce a principle that guides our work every day: housing is health care.
